About

Empowering Early-Career Researchers in Africa

The Network of Early Career Researchers on Digitalisation and Internationalisation (NECREDI) is a Community of Practice under the African Network for Internationalisation of Education (ANIE).

We provide a platform for young African researchers to connect, collaborate, and thrive in the global academic space. NECREDI emerged from the EU-funded DigiGrad Project (2023–2026), which focuses on enhancing postgraduate training and research in African universities through digitalisation and internationalisation.

Our vision is to strengthen Africa’s role in global research by empowering early-career researchers with the tools, partnerships, and opportunities they need to drive innovation and address Africa’s unique challenges.
